A short empire waist dress in lightweight rayon batik. The front of the bodice crosses over at the bust and is held closed with long ties trimmed with cotton tassels. The skirt portion is lightly gathered at the front and back. Each side has a slit pocket with a deep basin that curves around the front and back. Perfect for hot days!

This is my third or fourth dress in this style from SantaiBaliCollection. It is the perfect dress. It is cool, comfortable, universally flattering, and appropriate for most occasions- from an elegant wedding to festivals and beers in mid-summer. And it washes beautifully (on cold, hang to dry).
